About Dignity Gospel Quartet
Dignity Gospel Quartet was established in 2004. We are a ministry of DGQ Ministries, a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c),(3) Religious organization that uses music as a tool in the delivery of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Why do we sing? We believe that the ability and desire to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ through music is a gift from God. It is to be delivered until we rest in eternity with Him. We don’t sing because “we have it all together” but because He does and is faithful to be with us at all times. We sing Southern Gospel Music, sometimes traditional and sometimes not so traditional, but always praising our Savior and His saving grace. Psalm 96:1-3 instructs us "Oh sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples." We sing songs that we believe are in perfect harmony with the direction we receive from the Holy Spirit and the scriptures of The Holy Bible, the light for our path. We believe that each of us have been called to take the truth of the gospel to those who remain in darkness. This is done through our touring to numerous venues each year performing in churches, to church groups and other varied venues and organizations.
In 2010 our ministry outreach was expanded to produce and promote The Greater Houston Gospel Songfest. Over the past 15 years we have entertained and ministered to tens of thousands of gospel music lovers attending this annual series of concerts. Each of these concerts features award-winning, internationally recognized artists in Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, and Country Gospel Music. Information about these concerts for the current year is available under the CONCERTS tab of our homepage.
All sources of revenue received by DGQ Ministries and Dignity Gospel Quartet are received and treated as cash donations to DGQ Ministries. Through our personal commitments, and our organizational charter, these donations must be used exclusively for "non-profit Christian religious purposes (Article II, 2.2) with emphasis on sharing the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ and the message of His grace and love in the spoken word, song, and writing."
