Since establishing the Quartet in 2004 (originally known as Dignity Singers), Jackie Snider has been the guiding force in the commitment and persistence that has brought this group through multiple periods of difficulty including the untimely passing of their original lead singer, Dennis Nipp. As the Director of Community Outreach for Dignity Memorial Funeral, Cemetery, and Cremation Providers of the Greater Houston area, Jackie held a desire to incorporate her background in music into her passion for bringing joy back into the lives of the many people who have lost loved ones that she meets with nearly every day. That vision has grown to managing appearances of the quartet not only for many small group venues, but also community-wide gospel concerts totaling 30-40 performances annually and recording sessions in Nashville and other studios. Jackie and her husband John Snider have given their lives to serving others, not only in the funeral industry as owners of their own business, and periods of managing others, but also including the pastorate of several churches including those they have helped organize. They reside in Houston and are proud parents of three grown children who have blessed them with grandchildren. An accomplished pianist and vocalist, Jackie occasionally joins the quartet in concert as a performer and stays busy managing the concert and recording calendar for them.
